HELLO MEMPHIS!!!!!!!

Hey Memphis! My name is Kailee, I'm 12 years old, and as you probably know I live in KualaLumpur, Malaysia. I'm am very happy with my life here in KL as you probably are in Memphis. Now about me... I have many friends here, and school is cool around here. We have free dress days, pack shack ( they sell cheeseburgers, hamburgers etc.) , and our lunch is one hour long. I have no siblings, but I have 2 yorkies. Their names are Koda and Theo. The picture of me (attached) was taken in Humanities which is Social Studies and English combined. Coming up ( in 2 days!!!!!!) is Malaysia Week. We all go to different islands in Malaysia for 1 week. We have to either survive and pee in holes in the ground, or we stay in mini resorts. There is snorkeling, white water rafting, etc. It will be such great fun! But my bus is to the island that's most far away. The bus ride is 10 hours, then we have to take a boat for 2 hours. And since it's so far away we have to be at school at 3:45 am!!!!!!!!!!! I am originally from Canada, but I have never lived there. I wasn't actually born there either. I was born in Singapore and was raised all over Asia and the Middle East. I have lived in 5 cities and I have only ever gone to an International School. I have never had a best friend that is from the same country as me. Since you guys live close to Canada, have you ever been there? I visited the states for the 1st time this year. I visit Canada every year during summer, but to me, it's really cold!!!! I cant wait to hear back from you guys! Have an awesome day!

Hi Kailee! We are on spring break right now, but I can't wait for my students to read all of the great blogs you all have left. You gave such great information, and you will probably make some of my students very jealous :-). Have a great time on your Malaysia trip! We will love to hear all about it!

Hi Kailee I'm Shane. Malaysia sounds very fun. Memphis is nice but their is a lot of crime in some areas. There are a lot of nice hotels and funny cartoons on TV. By the way I'm turning 13 in April.

Hey people in Malaysia! I am Collier and I just got back from spring break in Switzerland. I love to travel. Unfortunately, I have never been to Malaysia. I am so excited about this project. Some of my hobbies are traveling, shopping, hanging out with my friends, cheerleading, gymnastics, and tennis. I have never lived anywhere else besides Memphis. My family owns houses in other places but I never lived there. I have one brother and 11 cousins. I have two dogs named Beau and Bella. I know they are kinda weird names. Your school sounds like they have some pretty fun trips. I don't know if I would like peeing in a hole though. Haha. Can't wait to hear back from you.

St.George's is a very fun school and the people here are very nice. Memphis is also very famous for their barbaque and we have a festival for it each year! The weather is always unpredictable. Memphis is also the home of Elvis and Graceland but you might have already known that. Well anyway, it's so nice getting to know you!!!

Andrew:Wow your 13!!!! I just turned 12 in December. If you guys were in our school you would be in 7th grade. You guys are in 7th grade in Memphis right? Last season I was on the basketball team. In my old house in Dubai I had a basketball hoop, but not here. Yea, every trimester offers a lot of different sports. This term the activities aren't very good because there's not much to choose from. There is only badminton and touch rugby. I take badminton, but I do a lot of sports outside of school. I do tennis, ballet twice a week, tap and hip hop on the weekends. Talk later!
Shane:Same here, there is a lot of break in's and sooo much purse snatching. There are really cool hotels here too, and the TV is pretty good, but in the US and Canada it's way better. Cool, I will be 13 in December.
Collier: What a cool name. I have never heard it before... it's so unique!I love traveling too, but I always get really sick which sucks. Wow we could be BFF's!!!! We have so much in common! I have practically the exact same hobbies except cheer leading! They don't offer it here, so I'm not that interested anymore. I have no siblings but I have 2 dogs. Koda and Theo, weird I know, but at the time Brother Bear and Alvin and The Chipmunks were my favorite. For 6th grade, that's our only trip. Haha I agree, luckily we had toilets. We stayed in a not-so-nice resort, more on that later. Cant wait to hear back!
Shelby: i always wondered what it would be like to go to one school for my whole life. Have you ever visited another country? The rest of what I would have said is answered in what I said to everyone else. Have a read!
Maggie: Wow your so much older than me! We could be shopping buddies :) I absolutely LOVE shopping. The best shop here is Topshop. They have some awesome stuff. There's another shop called Chamelon and it's the best place for accessories. Here we normally have a welcome back carnival and an international festival. Woe Elvis. His house must be a major tourist attraction.

Hey all of you guys,
are you guys all in the same class?
Do you have msn? So then we can keep in extra touch and get to know each other even better!

Talk to you all later!

Hey! Believe me, going to the same school forever isnt that much fun. I mean I love St. George's and I get to stay with my friends, but I would love to go to another school somewhere else. I know you love shopping from what I read, but what other things do you like to do in your free time? Also what is your favorite place that you have been? The only place I have ever gone outside of the country is Mexico. Oh and by the way what is a MSN?
